30A – Final Reflection

1) I remember having a hard time in this class early on I was uncomfortable blogging, I had never done it before, and I did not know exactly what I wanted to do for my venture concept. Once I figured it out, I found a lot of the assignment were fun to participate in and I felt a sense of accomplishment once I had finished the assignment.

2) Going out and doing interviews was the experience I was most proud of accomplishing, I have never done it before and it forced me out of my comfort zone, but I definitely will remember doing them 2 years down the line.

3) I still don't see myself as an entrepreneur, but I think I have definitely moved closer to having an entrepreneurial mindset. This class has thought me a lot about what it takes to be an entrepreneur and all of the stuff you have deal with along the way.

4) For future students taking this class I would recommend not being afraid to go out of your comfort zone. This class is going to require you to participate in things you most likely have never done before and you want at least put forth your best effort. I would recommend watching the lectures and make you give yourself enough time do all the assignments. Don't wait till the last minute to do them. As for fostering an entrepreneurial mindset that will come overtime, there is really no specific thing I can recommend that will immediately create that mindset.

  1. Doing interviews is something I was most proud of myself for as well. It's definitely awkward at first. It sounds like you did a good job coming out of your comfort zone and developing yourself as an entrepreneur.

  2. Randall, your post resonated with me because I too do not feel like an entrepreneur. I do however think this class helped highlight parts of my personality that have entrepreneurial traits. Well done!

  3. Great job on your blog post. Even if you are not going to be an entrepreneur when you graduate from college, it is still very valuable to be able to think with an entrepreneurial mindset and step out of your comfort zone. I am glad that you found this class to be valuable and believe that you left good advice for people who are going to be taking this class next semester.
